GET READY FOR FESTIVAL SHOPPING NAVRATRI AND DUSSEHRA
Navratri & Dussehra:
One of the longest festivals is the Navratri and Dussehra. The Famous Durga Puja is also held during this period. The festivities go on for nearly 10 days during this occasion. It is a tradition for the ladies to wear different colored dresses on each day of Navratri. This is the time when people wear their best dresses and showcase their wardrobes. Everyone tries to put in their best appearances with the best outfits they have.
Purchasing of the dress materials also soars during the festive occasions. The traditional Indian outfits of sarees of various types, lehengas and ghagras are never out of fashion. Men wear different types of kurta Pyjamas of attractive colors and designs, sherwanis and dhotis.
Navratri is dedicated to worshipping Goddess Durga and her avatars. It
is celebrated for nine nights and nine forms of the Devi are worshipped.
On Navratri, each Goddess of Navadurga is worshipped and devotees dress
up in nine different colours on each day of this colourful festival.
Ma Shailaputri - The Goddess Worshiped on the First Day of Navratri
Ma Brahmacharini - The Goddess Worshipped on Second Day of Navratri
Ma Chandraghanta - The Goddess Worshipped on the Third Day of Navratri
Ma Kushmanda - The Goddess Worshipped on the Fourth Day of Navratri
Ma Skandamata: The Goddess Worshipped on the Fifth Day of Navratri
Ma Katyayani: The Goddess Worshiped on the Sixth Day of Navratri
Ma Kaalratri: The Goddess Worshipped on the Seventh Day of Navratri
Ma Mahagauri: The Goddess Worshipped On The Eighth Day of Navratri
these nine days we use to do worship all devis avatar. even before starts navratri i went market and bought some colourful lights so i decor my pooja room.
Even we use to participate garba dance as well. we use to go in group . I bought lehenga which i wear during garba , also match with jewellery as well.
